About YEA Committees

YEA members participate in the design and implementations of YEA programs and activities through the following committees:

Purpose:

Create, develop, and enhance membership services and attract new members.

Objectives:

1. To increase the number of members

2. To provide beneficial quality services and events to attract and retain members

3. To provide quality networking opportunities for YEA members

4. To identify and provide training courses

Purpose:

To create, develop and enhance and entrepreneurial mindset in Jordan. To enhance YEA’s capacity in promoting itself.

Objectives:

1. To devise and implement a strategy to promote the entrepreneurial mindset in Jordan

2. To design and implement a marketing plan to promote YEA

3. To celebrate successful entrepreneurs

Purpose:

To design YEA’s Annual Forum (2006)

Objectives:

1. To formulate the theme of the forum

2. Support the Executive Staff with the implementation of the forum

3. To coordinate with all YEA committees for relevant involvement

4. To recruit speakers, moderators, and facilitators

5. To identify potential Sponsors

Purpose:

To advocate the enhancement of the mindset, environment, and conditions for entrepreneurship in Jordan.

Objectives:

1. To advocate for solutions to members’ challenges

2. Form proactive coalitions with other associations and stakeholders to strengthen YEA lobbying power

3. Educate members about rules and regulations that affect their businesses

4. To coordinate the implementation of the GEM recommendations with stakeholders.
