"Establish Your Own Venture" handbook

We have all, at one point or another, thought of or aspired to open our own business, to offer a new service, to introduce a new concept, a new product or to even offer a better version of an existing one. We have all, at least once, argued with someone regarding the viability of a business idea, whether it was his or hers or even someone else’s. We have probably used certain assumptions regarding the costs involved to set-up this venture, and even forecasted how people will perceive or react towards it. We surely made assumptions as to what the customers would be willing to pay for it and even how much of it they are willing to buy. What we did not realize at the time is that we were actually conducting a rudimentary form of a venture viability evaluation.

“ Establish Your Own Venture” handbook, is a complete guide that was created for those who want to setup small or medium sized enterprises (SMEs), and are not acquainted with necessary tools needed to evaluate the market. The book also offers tools and guidelines to aspiring entrepreneurs to help make their ventures successful. The handbook was developed by YEA member, Mustafa Tabba’, and published by the Young Entrepreneurs Association in Arabic and English, in cooperation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, and with the support of the Higher Council for Youth in Jordan.
